Bay View provides a great location in the popular seaside resort of Sandown. The chalet is comfortably furnished offering one double bedroom with sea views, one bedroom with bunk beds, bathroom and an open plan living room with kitchen. There is a decking area with patio table, chairs and a communal grassed area to take in the stunning views. The site provides ample parking. The area offers one of the best sandy beaches on the Island and the nearby towns of Sandown and Shanklin provide a good range of shops and boutiques as well as some great pubs and restaurants. For the younger generation there is Sandown Zoo, 3D Dinosaur Isle and Sandown Pier. A regular bus service runs from outside the site.
Sandown is a traditional British beach resort which is in a delightful bay on the south east coast of the Isle of Wight, the ideal location for your family holiday. With its gently sloping sandy beaches, miles of coastline, blue sea and great choice of attractions and places to eat, Sandown is without doubt one of the best beach resorts on the Isle of Wight. Sandown pier is the only remaining traditional entertainment pier on the Island has all the amusements, fairground rides, cafes and bars you’d expect, with fishing allowed from the end of the pier for keen anglers. There’s an 18-hole course and pitch & putt at Browns Golf Course, the Isle of Wight Zoo and Dinosaur Isle at the northern end of the esplanade towards Yaverland and Culver cliff. If you’re looking for water sports, try Wight Waters at Lake or give windsurfing or kayaking a go at Yaverland.
Not far from Sandown is Brading, one of the oldest towns on the Isle of Wight and steeped in history. Here you can explore the Brading Roman Villa, the pretty Norman Church of St Mary's and the Old Town Hall with its whipping post and stocks. There are some very scenic walks in and around Brading; including the historic walk along the old harbour wall to the windmill at Bembridge.
The Isle of Wight is famous for its superb beaches, dramatic coastlines and outstanding natural beauty, the Island is a holiday haven with something for everyone. From secluded coves and wide expanses of sandy beaches it's not just the stunning landscapes that attract visitors to the Island, but the variety of things to see and do. Rich in a wide variety of sporting and leisure activities as well rich in history and heritage, visitors return year after year to enjoy another holiday with Home from Home Holidays. Self-catering is the most popular option because it is both cost effective and offers flexibility with the freedom to come and go as you please.

This is our second time staying at accommodation with Home from Home Holidays and it was just as great as the first time. Everyone at Home from Home is really helpful - also with booking the ferry which takes a weight off our mind. Accommodation is always well presented and clean and we would certainly recommend this accommodation and Home from Homes to anyone looking to stay on the Isle of Wight.

Late holiday, but was presently surprised at this chalet. Clean and tidy, very well positioned, lovely outlook over Sandown Bay, through the trees.Very quiet ,peaceful and relaxing.Close to some lovely walks and accessible to all parts of the beautiful island.Would probably return again.

We found out there were cheaper chalets and that we were paying for the view. Too many trees to see a good view?? The parking was way too far away from the chalet. The were a few jobs that could have been done to make thimgs better. Overall it was comfortable and we enjoyed the holiday.
